Well now here’s a surprise.
When Billy Gilman was just 12-years-old he had a country hit with his touching song One Voice. Skip ahead 16 years and the tween with the golden voice has grown into the man with a golden voice who could quite possibly go on to win The Voice.
After getting all four judges to turn around during his blind audition on Tuesday, it was up to Billy to pick his coach. So who would it be? Miley Cyrus (whose dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, Billy went on tour with back when he was a child star), Adam Levine (who was the first judge to turn around), Alicia Keys (who seemed maybe a little less excited than the other three judges), or Blake Shelton (who Billy said inspired him with his very first ACM Award win)?
If you were thinking he’d naturally go with country singer Blake Shelton, you’d be wrong. Turns out Billy chose Adam Levine.
