While we don’t know what it all means just yet, Kelly Clarkson took to Snapchat today to share that…nbd, she was in the studio with Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire. The trio was buzzing around thanks to Snapchat’s hilarious bee filter.
While the Snapchat focused mainly on the fact that Trisha brought a delicious treat she called “crack,” the women were in a “session” for what we can only predict will be some more aural goodness. The trio previously joined vocal forces on a chill-inducing version of “Silent Night” that appeared on Kelly’s 2013 Christmas release, Wrapped in Red.
While Kelly is currently working on a soul project, her debut album for Atlantic Records, we can’t help but speculate what this collaboration could be. In fact, if the music Gods are listening, we’d like a trio EP in the vein of Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton out of Trisha, Reebs and ol’ KC.
