Julianne Hough is returning to Dancing With the Stars this season

Derek and Julianne Hough

Despite the fact that Julianne Hough left country music behind quite a while ago (and, yes, I’m still a little sad about it, thank you for asking), she still has quite a few fans left in these parts. So here’s a bit of good Hough news for those that care: Julianne and her brother Derek are returning to “Dancing With The Stars” this season.

According to E! Online, Derek, who has been appearing in the Broadway production of Singin’ In the Rain, will return as a pro. Unfortunately, Julianne won’t be lacing up her dancing shoes and instead will once again be a judge after skipping last season.

Celebrities joining this season as contestants include Amber Rose, Ryan Lochte, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Terra Jole and Jake T. Austin. Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher is also rumored to possibly be joining the show. The full DWTS cast is set to be announced on Good Morning America on Tuesday, with the season 23 premiere airing Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
