Chris Lane Nabs First #1 with “Fix”

Huge congratulations are in order for Big Loud Records recording artist, Chris Lane, who just nabbed his first #1 single with “Fix.” The pop-country summer single was written by Sarah Buxton, Jesse Frasure and Abe Stoklasa. This is the first #1 for Lane, and also a first for the label, which launched in the summer of 2015.

“My first #1 … doesn’t even feel real,” exclaims Lane. “Thank you country radio for giving me a chance, for playing this song, for believing in me, and making all of this possible. And, I can’t thank my Big Loud Records team and family enough for their hard work day in and day out. Here’s to hopefully many more to come!”

Lane also took to Twitter to share his excitement over his huge accomplishment, writing “Waking up to my first #1 Doesn’t even feel real!! GOD is so good! Thank you FANS, RADIO, my LABEL FAM,&SONGWRITERS.”

Lane is currently opening for Rascal Flatts on their Rhythm & Roots Tour with Kelsea Ballerini. He released his debut album, Girl Problems, on Friday.

‘American Idol’ hopes to lure Carrie Underwood to be a judge or whatever on the show

‘American Idol’ seems to be in some sort of free fall right now. Yesterday, the former reality show juggernaut failed to receive an Emmy nomination for Best Competition Reality Show, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have both quit or been fired depending on what report you read, and the ratings have been lacking lately from my understanding.
