Wow. Just wow.
Listening to the radio this morning and caught Blair Garner talking on America’s Morning Show about this being his last week.
Our leader and creator, Blair Garner, announced Monday morning (Aug 29) that this will be his final week with us here at America’s Morning Show.
The National and Country Radio Hall of Fame radio host will launch his new show “The Blair Garner Show” in late October and it will air from midnight to 5am.
A clearly emotional Garner explained that his decision to leave morning radio came after thinking about his 12-year-old children, Braxton and Ava, and how he wanted to be able to be there for them more. Despite being grateful for everything he gets to do with America’s Morning Show, it takes a lot of dedication to do morning radio right and at this point in his life he wants to focus on his family, and especially his children.
And for that, I commend him.
Blair will still be on the radio with his new show, The Blair Garner Show, which will launch in October, but he says that will allow him more freedom and more flexibility.
The new co-host of America’s Morning Show will be Ty Bentli, who will be joining the show soon.
Sad to see him go, but happy for Blair for making such an awesome decision for his family.
