I can’t decide if the best part of this video is listening to English actor Patrick Stewart (X Men, Star Trek: The Next Generation) singing old cowboy classics or if seeing the usually dapper fella wearing jeans and chaps is the best part of the spoof video.

Either way, it’s pretty entertaining.

Update: Turns out the video isn’t actually a spoof. I was so excited about the video that I failed to actually read the accompanying article. Oops. Talk about a rooky mistake.

So anyway, Stewart has recorded a couple of albums of old cowboy songs for charity. The actor has recorded Cowboy Classics Volume 1 and 2 with all proceeds going to International Rescue Committee, which helps to help crisis-affected families in Europe, the Middle East, and elsewhere around the world.

Unfortunately, the albums seem to be selling out fast but you can head over to pstewsings.com to buy your copy while supplies last.
