Lauren Alaina has a pinch me moment with Martina McBride

Lauren Alaina had a moment a lot of dread. You get to meet one of your favs. Why would you dread that you ask? Well, because you never know if your fav is going to live up to those expectations we set. Lucky for us when Lauren met Martina McBride it went better than she could’ve dreamed of.

Lauren said this on her Instagram:

I grew up singing my heart out to this beautiful lady’s songs. A couple of days ago I opened up for her. What would 10 year old Lauren’s face look like if I could tell her that would happen one day. I imagine it would look very similar to the one I made when I realized she was watching my set from side stage. @martinamcbride thank you for being everything I dreamed you’d be.
