Kenny Chesney Delays Album Release; Adds Duet With P!nk

Kenny Chesney

There is good news and bad news coming from the Kenny Chesney camp today. The good news is that Chesney has enlisted the talents of internationally acclaimed popstar, P!nk, for his forthcoming album, Some Town Somewhere. The bad news is the release of the offering will be slightly delayed.

The album, which initially was scheduled for release this Friday, July 8, will now become available on October 28. The delayed project will contain a collaboration with P!nk, “Setting the World On Fire,” which Chesney calls “a song of being.”

The duet came about when Chesney and P!nk became friends in California and the country singer invited the spectacular pop vocalist to join him on his record. With both artists having a history of success with such collaborative efforts, there leaves little doubt that this track will fly up the charts upon its inevitable release.

You all have to admit: this new development makes the postponement very much worthwhile!
