This Sunday, July 3, The Band Perry was scheduled to perform in Delaware. However, when two men walked into an area near the band’s rehearsal and issued threats, the siblings decided to call the show off to protect themselves and their fans.
The actual threat has not been made public, but Delaware State Police explained that the two men (between twenty and thirty years of age, pictured below), made a statement specific to the show and put performers, attendees, and workers in danger.
The Band Perry’s rescheduled date is for August 17 with ticket holders from July 3 being offered the opportunity to collect refunds. The Band Perry addressed the situation on Twitter, explaining the decision to call the show off for the evening.
