Just a month after signing a publishing deal with Black River Entertainment, rising country star Jacob Davis has also signed a record deal with the label that’s already home to Kelsea Ballerini, Kellie Pickler, Craig Morgan and more.
At his fan club party this afternoon during CMA Fest, Davis was surprised with the record deal by the label’s CEO Gordon Kerr, and one fan caught the whole special moment on video.
Over the past few months, his devoted legion of fans, The Jacob Davis Squad, has been sending fans free samples of his music, creating a grassroots following for the Louisiana native.
If his already loyal fans are any indication, we expect big things for Jacob Davis in the near future.
