Florida Man Charged For Impersonating Jason Aldean


A Florida man has been arrested on charges of defrauding a mentally handicapped victim by pretending to be Jason Aldean. According to WFLA, Daniel Farris coerced the victim into providing him with money and sex under the guise that he was country music megastar Aldean.

The victim’s affidavit stated that Farris received $230 from her twice and that she also engaged in sexual intercourse with him. Using Facebook to pose as Aldean and a friend of the singer’s, Farris collected money by professing his love to the victim, explaining his friend was in need of money, and that he couldn’t get it to him from out on the road.

Farris admitted to taking money from the victim and using it for his prescription pill addiction.
