While most stars sell their wedding photos to a magazine for a hefty payday, Dolly Parton is doing things just a wee bit differently. The singer and her famously private husband Carl Dean recently celebrated 50 years of marriage and celebrated their golden anniversary with a private vow renewal ceremony. They’ll release photos to the highest bidder, with the proceeds going to children’s charities.

“If I had it to do all over, I’d do it all over again, and we did,” says Dolly Parton. “I’m dragging him kicking and screaming into the next 50 years. Wish us luck. In all honesty, the only way I was able to get Carl to do any of this in the first place was that it was a great opportunity for us to raise money for some very worthy causes.”

This will be the first time many people will even see Carl Dean, who has successfully avoided the spotlight. However, in addition to the vow renewal photos, he’ll do his first interview. The exclusive interview will feature fan-submitted questions and an interviewer he knows and loves, Dolly herself.
