Platinum-selling recording artist Cole Swindell is partnering with CMT for his anticipated third annual Down Home Tour, following two previous sold-out runs.
COLE SWINDELL’S DOWN HOME TOUR Presented by CMT ON TOUR will kick off late this Fall in tandem with the release of his Down Home Sessions III EP. The partnership marks the 15th annual tour for CMT, which has been a springboard for a number of country superstars. The tour was announced yesterday live as Swindell presented at the “2016 CMT Music Awards.”
Swindell, who has a record-breaking five consecutive No. 1 singles (first four being off his self-titled debut album) and who Rolling Stone declared is “clearly ready to move on to significance,” is fresh off a coast to coast national launch of his sophomore album You Should Be Here with performances on Good Morning America and TODAY, and the history-making first-ever live radio and TV event from the 57th floor terrace of 4 World Trade Center, broadcast on Fox & Friends. The hit singer/songwriter debuted his new single “Middle of a Memory” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “Middle of a Memory” was released to country radio and was the No. 1 most added that week. It currently sits at No. 38 on Mediabase/Country Aircheck and No. 34 on the Billboard country singles chart after five weeks on the chart.
