All the winners from the 2016 CMT Music Awards

cmt-awards

Well last night was the 2016 CMT Music Awards. Did you watch? I didn’t watch, but I have been reading all the reviews today and it sounds like it was a perfect mashup of amazing and WTH was that? appearances and performances.

Seriously. Pitbull performed. What is up with that???

Livestreaming the show was a total bust. CMT didn’t do any livestreaming themselves (I mistakenly reported that they were going to – sorry) and with the websites who did happen to try livestreaming it was sort of hit and miss, so many people missed out on watching the show altogether. Of course, a lot of people were highly disappointed and would probably argue that you didn’t miss much anyway.

Anyway, I’ve spent all morning writing a post to share YouTube videos of all the performances. Unfortunately, CMT’s parent company Viacom is going through and taking down the videos as quickly as I could get them posted.

Booo!

So I guess if you want to watch performance videos you can watch the show when it re-airs on CMT tonight at 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, June 11 at 12:00 p.m.; Sunday June 12 at 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. All times are ET/PT. You can also head over to CMT to watch a few of the performances there.

So, I guess that’s about it. Here’s the full list of winners. Any surprises for you?
