Class of 1989’er, Clint Black, is easily one of the most “in-touch” artists when it comes to communicating with fans and sharing pieces of his life and career with those who have supported him over the years. Releasing YouTube videos to include them in the process and provide back stories to songs that jump started, shaped, and impacted his career, Black has made it a point to fully extend himself to his fans — and the “Straight From The Factory” video is a perfect example.
In Black’s newest YouTube video, he takes fans behind-the-scenes of the 1989 Killin’ Time track, explaining that the song was originally intended to be his first single. While Black and his team had a change of heart as far as the release, the catchy tune is still making people dance when they hear the chords today.
