During the week she is celebrating the No. 1 country song in the nation, “Think Of You” with Chris Young, Cassadee Pope lent her voice to another collaboration. Surprising a Nashville crowd that came to see Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelley perform a solo show, Pope took the stage and joined forces with Kelley to sing “I Wish You Were Here.”

Kelley introduced the song, explaining that it was a perfect fit for his The Driver album, and he couldn’t resist including the Jed Hughes-penned tune that he always wanted to record. The ballad about missing a special someone while out on the road was perfectly delivered as a duet between the friends and occasional co-writers, showing off their undeniable professional chemistry.

Of course, when you put two hilarious people on stage together, comedy is bound to ensue … but rather than spoiling the moment for you, we invite you to watch No. 1 artists Charles Kelley and Cassadee Pope perform “I Wish You Were Here” below.
