It’s been less than two months since Super Bowl champion quarterback, Peyton Manning, announced his retirement from the NFL. It seems that since word broke about his graceful exit from professional football, Manning is living it up the way a ring-bearing athlete should.
With reports coming from all over downtown Nashville, Demonbreun, and midtown earlier this week, the city was abuzz about Manning perusing the streets, taking pictures with fans, and enjoying a little live music. In fact, by the end of the night, Manning was the live music.
Taking the stage with Lee Brice and Shay Mooney (Dan + Shay), the former Denver Bronco sang his favorite country song, “Rocky Top,” for a Whiskey Jam audience. The result … us thinking that maybe leading a team is best suited for Manning on the field, rather than on the stage. Regardless, it looked like Number 18 had the time of his life, and that’s what really matters, right?!
