It’s a great time to be Little Big Town. The foursome are currently on-tour with Luke Bryan, and recently received one heck of a surprise. Prior to a show in Baltimore, the group received a visit from the Recording Industry of America (RIAA), who presented them with a plaque, certifying their hit “Girl Crush” double platinum.
The GRAMMY Award winning group comprised of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet are still riding high from the success of 2015’s most downloaded country single. The song also remained at number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country songs chart for 13 consecutive weeks, making it the longest running number one for a group since 1959.
Today, the quartet received a nomination from Billboard for Top Country Song at the Billboard Music Awards.
