A very pregnant Kelly Clarkson couldn’t be at the American Idol finale last night, but that didn’t stop the Season 1 iconic champion from live tweeting the entire show. In fact, the only thing more entertaining than the show itself was the Clarkson Twitter feed, filled with memories, jokes, and signs of pregnancy brain.
Before Clarkson signed off for the evening, after Idol signed off for good, she shared a very special message from a legacy of the show. Her daughter, River Rose, wanted to say “bye” to the television franchise and its fans that catapulted her mom to success (and was the first step in meeting her dad, Brandon Blackstock).
This goodbye gives Ryan Seacrest‘s emotional adieu a run for its money!
