Jake Owen Goes After “Jake Owen” On Facebook Video

People sure have a way of taking social media and invasive acts to the next level. Jake Owen, unfortunately, has learned firsthand about the negative aspects of the Internet, having recently discovered a fake Jake Owen (let’s call him “Fake Owen” for the remainder of this article) who is reaching out to his fans.

Owen used Facebook Live today to tell his fans about Fake Owen, explaining that the poser account has been contacting people, especially women, and leaving a phone number for them to call. Owen dialed the number while on his chat, only to receive a voicemail.

This obviously means the war is far from over. In fact, Owen promised to put forth serious effort to find the presumably San Francisco-based culprit (415 area code) at the end of his video message:

I’m not finished with these creeps. I will do everything in my power to make sure you all, my fans, are protected from these low life people. I love you guys.
