Garth Brooks recently announced that he would be going LIVE, that is Facebook Live, with his new album preparations. The man against the machine tested his new form of communication over the weekend, sharing some plans for his forthcoming album.

We’re gonna make a big move here in a just a little bit with Facebook. We’re gonna bring everybody in on the new album. We’re gonna bring you in on making this album . . . songwriting sessions, everything from recording. It’s gonna be a blast.

Though Brooks isn’t quite ready to divulge all the details of the currently untitled 2016 (predicted) release, he did say that his mind has been wandering toward the idea of a concept album.

Concept albums are really blowing my mind right now, because if you want to promote an album, think about it — a concept album might be the way to go. The great thing about albums is it gives you a lot of choices, and we can all say that the album business is dead, but watch Taylor Swift. I don’t think it’s dead. I just think we’ve got to hit on the energies that make people want to collect albums.
