Which Country Artists Were Nominated For Billboard Music Awards?

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards are taking place on May 22 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. Today, the multi-genre awards show announced its list of nominees.

While country music received no nods in any of the all-genre categories, many still walked away with recognition from Billboard. Leading the pack is Sam Hunt with four nominations in three categories for Top Country Artist, Top Country Album, and Top Country Song (“Break Up In a Small Town” and “Take Your Time”). Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Chris Stapleton, and Carrie Underwood each received two nominations.
