While Trent Harmon has been using his time thus far on Season 15 of American Idol to highlight his soulful side, we took a trip to his YouTube archives and were very pleasantly surprised with what we found. Turns out, the Idol contestant has covered a whole slew of covers, including one by the current surprise king of Nashville, Chris Stapleton.
In the video, posted on YouTube 9 months ago, Trent lends his gritty and soulful voice to Chris Stapleton’s “Sometimes I Cry,” off his album, Traveller.
