Country fans were shocked last summer when, after 25 years of marriage, Reba McEntire announced her split from music manager, Narvel Blackstock.
Since the split, Reba has remained nothing but classy regarding the divorce, while rumors have swirled about her ex. Reba opened up to CMT’s Cody Alan about the split.
The divorce was NOT my idea. I didn’t want it in any shape, form or fashion. So it was really hard to make the adjustment…when someone’s not happy, I just want everyone to be happy in their lives because our lives are too short to be miserable, so…I just thought it was the best thing to take my marbles and go play somewhere else.
Reba continues on that it was her faith in God, her business, her family and friends who got her through the rough times. Aww Reebs, we love you!
