Luke Bryan may sell out huge venues, but it isn’t just his audiences that are enormous … his heart is, as well.
Eight-year-old Joseph Donachricha from Iowa has relied on Luke’s music to get him through some tough times. Having struggled with pain and medical treatments his entire life, Joseph finally found relief in the form of music. In fact, Joseph’s mom credits her son’s recovery following hospital visits, ongoing issues, and constant seizures to the country music hit-maker.
To thank Luke and help Joseph meet the man who has helped him pull through, his third grade teachers created a video, hoping that enough people would share it and Luke would catch wind. The teachers’ prayers were answered and Joseph’s dream came true, as he was able to meet his hero this past weekend.
Joseph’s mom, Sheree Brussa, explained to Mason City’s Globe Gazette:
Joseph ran up to him saying, “I made it Luke! I made it!” He just charged him when Luke walked in.
Ugh, Luke. This one hits us right in the ticker.
