After months of being told his new album would be his most personal yet, fans are finally getting their first taste of what Blake Shelton has been teasing with the release of his new single Came Here To Forget.
If you’ve been curious about how seemingly opposites Blake and girlfriend Gwen Stefani first came together, this song may give you a peek into how it happened. With the song telling the story of a man and woman in a bar giving each other support during an extra tough time and with lyrics such as “make the best of the worst of it,” and “gettin’ even with her and with him,” the song seems to be a confession of sorts.
Blake confirmed as much previously, saying, “I’ve had a lot of music over the years but I don’t think I’ve ever had a song before that’s such a direct look into my life. That’s why I’m so excited about this particular song.”

Sorry but it is creepy. I guess I was expecting more from this song. He is one of the best vocalists but this auto tuned pop song sure doesn’t show it.
