Last night, Sam Hunt performed a late-night show at the Ryman, resurrecting a medley of 90’s female country songs that was all the rage during his 2015 Lipstick Graffiti Tour. Making the performance even more swoon-worthy was a surprise appearance by Charles Kelley.
The medley kicked off with Reba’s “Fancy” and then led into classics by Trisha Yearwood (“She’s in Love with the Boy”), Mariah Carey (“Always Be My Baby”) and Deana Carter (“Strawberry Wine”). The pair also included Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name.”
