Last night, at a show in Connecticut, Jessica Lynn, an artist who has shared the stage with Jo Dee Messina and has bonded with her in friendship, lived out a dream — opening for Phil Vassar — with the help of their mutual musical pal.

Jessica, who will once again be opening for Jo Dee next month at the You Must Love Dogs Fest in Tampa, Florida, not only dreamed of being on the same bill as the legendary Phil Vassar, but also hoped to fill Jo Dee’s giant shoes and perform “I’m Alright” with the mastermind behind the song. As they say, good things happen to good people, and Jessica’s dreams came true in front of a large crowd of country music fans.

After her own set, Phil invited the gorgeous and talented country singer back to the stage and gave her the opportunity to duet on the iconic song. Perfectly playing the role of Phil’s singing partner, Jessica visibly had the time of her life on the stage, deserving the energetic round of applause that followed the performance.

Talk about a full circle moment for Jessica Lynn, an artist who works relentlessly to make these euphoric moments happen.
