Kelly Clarkson, in connection with HarpersCollins Publishers, announced the release of Kelly’s first picture book, River Rose and the Magical Lullaby. The book will also feature an original lullaby, written and performed by the Grammy Award-winning superstar.
The story is about a little girl’s first trip to the zoo, which showcases River Rose seeing animals and riding the carousel, making the child so excited that she can’t fall asleep — until her mother sings her a magical lullaby.
With illustrations by Laura Hughes, Kelly explained the impact she hopes the story has on those who embark on the journey.
When kids read River Rose and the Magical Lullaby my hope is that it inspires their imagination and reminds them that they should always follow their dreams – no matter where they lead.
River Rose and the Magical Lullaby will be released on October 4, 2016.
