Ouch! Joe Perry Chimes In About Aerosmith Bandmate Steven Tyler Going Country

We sure hope we don’t find Steven Tyler “cryin'” after this not-so-“amazing” response from Aerosmith‘s lead guitarist, Joe Perry, when asked about the legendary band’s front man trying his hand at country music…

Perry discussed Tyler’s new single, “Red, White & You” with U.S.A. Today and seemed to be slightly “jaded” by the tune.

Hey, if I didn’t know him when I heard the song I’d go, “It’s okay, next.” I’m not going to say anything else about that.

While Perry didn’t say anything more about Tyler’s latest single, which succeeds his debut “Love Is Your Name“, he didn’t miss the opportunity to rag on his longtime bandmate’s decision to move to Music City.

Steven is in Nashville doing whatever he’s doing. He’s got a (bleeping) rhinestone cowboy hat going “Yippee ki yay.” I don’t know what else to say about that.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I can say that I am thrilled to have Mr. Steven Tyler here in Nashville and can’t wait to see the “crazy” awesome he continues to bring to this city.
