Today Marks a Special Anniversary for Jo Dee Messina

Fourteen years ago today (February 8, 2016), Jo Dee Messina experienced a milestone in her career, as she celebrated the RIAA Platinum certification of her third album, Burn. Burn might have been Jo Dee’s second Platinum album, but it was her first Number 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, also garnering two Number 1 singles and two additional top five hits.

Leading the album off with “That’s the Way“, the inspirational country-pop tune that teaches us to “roll with the punches” helped Jo Dee sprint toward additional career success (following the enormity of her sophomore album, I’m Alright). Later radio releases also included title track “Burn“, “Downtime“, “Bring On the Rain” (featuring Tim McGraw), and “Dare to Dream“, most of which can be found on the multi-platinum, chart-topping, award-winning legendary artist’s Greatest Hits album.

Congratulations to Jo Dee Messina on the resounding success of Burn! We can’t wait to see what will burn up the charts for you in the near future!
