Emily Brooke Joins Cassadee Pope On Stage for Performance (Watch!)

Immediately following her Wednesday night performance of Cassadee Pope‘s “I Am Invincible” on American Idol, Emily Brooke received a phone call that brought her to tears. She was told that Cassadee was extending an invitation to her fellow West Palm Beach, Florida girl to join her on stage for a duet of “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart” to reciprocate the support Emily showed her by performing two of her songs on the Idol stage.

Tonight in Estero, Florida, Emily’s dream of performing as part of a big tour came true when she joined Cassadee on the Chris Young I’m Comin’ Over Tour. In front of an excited crowd in the Sunshine State, Cassadee welcomed Emily and the two proceeded to show fans why they have each had their individual successes on national singing competition shows.

Always the consummate professional and a true example of grace, Cassadee allowed Emily to take the lead several times throughout her song, providing low harmonies in support. Cheering her on and encouraging her young duet partner, the selfless artist with a single rising up the chart at maximum speed gave the talented Emily a taste of what lies ahead in her future in the industry.

***Fun fact: On the Estero, Florida stage, three different singing competition shows were represented, with Cassadee winning The Voice, Chris winning Nashville Star, and Emily making it to the Top 24 on American Idol.***
