Country music newcomer Tucker Beathard is turning heads with his Homegrown EP, a collection of five tracks that has landed Tucker on “ones to watch” lists created by some of the most influential voices in the genre. In fact, it was The Bobby Bones Show that caused us to check Tucker out, especially after hearing a short clip of his country rock tune, “Rock On” on the morning show.
The cleverly penned tune by the young man who is responsible for Eric Church‘s “Homeboy” is a song about the post-mortem often associated with a breakup. Keeping an eye on an ex who has moved on can introduce a world of “should haves” and regrets, which is exactly what Tucker is relaying in the song that encourages a girl to “rock on” since he failed to put a “rock on”.
You can listen to the song now by visiting our NashvilleGab Spotify Playlist below. If you like what you hear, you can follow Tucker on Twitter and Facebook as he continues to rock on toward a very successful year in country music.
