Chris Young is still celebrating his recent Number 1 hit, “I’m Comin’ Over“, and is ready to repeat the success with his next single. The contender is “Think of You“, a duet with Big Machine Label Group/Republic Nashville artist, Cassadee Pope, which appears on his most recent album. Fans can expect to start hearing the mid-tempo nostalgic tune on local stations on January 25th, its official radio impact date.
In speaking about the inevitable hit duet, Chris explained:
I love having Cassadee Pope on this song. I think she is a phenomenal singer and is the exact, perfect way to complete that song the way I wanted. It’s one of my favorite tracks on the record. I was playing an acoustic show with Cassadee, and she started her first song, and the minute she opened her mouth, it clicked. We were right in the beginning stages of “who do we get to do this?” and I said, “I’m asking her right when I get off this stage.” She’s awesome, and I’m so glad she said “yes” because she was my first choice, and I think people are going to be really into this song.
Knowing that we’ll get to perform “Think of You” together for all of our fans definitely builds another layer of excitement to heading out on tour with Chris.
The I’m Comin’ Over Tour, starring Chris Young and Cassadee Pope, will kick off on January 21st in Massachusetts.
