Sigh, back in August when Reba McEntire and her husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, announced their separation, we were hoping it was a temporary thing. We had our fingers crossed that those two crazy kids could work it out.
Unfortunately, that was not the case, as the Queen of Country and her manager have officially called it quits. In typical Reba style, she just decided to casually drop the news in a comment on her Facebook page.
When the pair first split, they released a joint statement that they would continue their professional relationship. “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time.”
That appears to be the case as Reba also shared a picture from the Starstruck Christmas party that shows that she and Narvel can at least be in the same room without killing each other. Good for them. We wish them all the best in this difficult time.
