Miranda Lambert Pays Tribute to the Eagles with “Desperado”

Although the Eagles couldn’t be in attendance at the Kennedy Center Honors due to Glenn Frey’s surgery, the legendary group was still honored, despite opting to receive their full honors in 2016. Miranda Lambert was enlisted to sing “Desperado” and she certainly did the Eagles proud.

With an earnest and heartfelt performance that is both stunning and subdued, this cover is Lambert at her finest.

Billy Ray Cyrus recently twerked his way through Achy Breaky 2, the rap remix of his two-decade old hit (and butt of many a joke) Achy Breaky Heart.
Okay, Billy Ray didn’t actually twerk, but many of the half-naked aliens around him did.
