Gab’s Countdown to Christmas: Pentatonix

You may be asking why a cappella group Pentatonix made it on to NashvilleGab‘s Countdown to Christmas, considering this is a country music-focused website and they lean more toward a pop sound. Well, there are two simple answers: 1) They are beyond ridiculously amazing; and 2) they (fortunately!) graced the country music stage at CMA Country Christmas this year.

Joining Jennifer Nettles, Kelsea Ballerini, LeAnn Rimes, and more, Pentatonix took the Country Music Association stage to bless Nashville and the genre’s fans with its rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town“. Showing off their natural abilities to create the sound of a full band, the five members of Pentatonix demonstrated that true artistry and pure talent are components that music fans — of any genre — still appreciate and anticipate.

Receiving a rousing round of applause, the Nashville crowd welcomed Pentatonix with open arms, giving the quintet an indefinite invitation to continue sharing their talents with Music City — and we hope they RSVP stat!
