If you ever need a lesson in looking on the bright side, just hit up Blake Shelton because the man is a big ol’ beacon of positive thinking.
Despite a very public breakup of his marriage to Miranda Lambert, Blake says 2015 has been the best year of his life.
“All the awful things that happened in my personal life this year, but the way the year has ended is also the greatest year in my life,” Blake told Country Countdown USA’s Lon Helton over the weekend.
So just what has made it so amazing? Well Blake isn’t naming names (although I’m sure you can guess at least one person he’s got in mind), but it sounds like he’s definitely counting his blessings professionally and personally.
“I better not talk about that just yet, but sometimes you don’t know who’s in your life that can save you. I found some people in my life that have changed my life forever. Some has been bad and some that’s been pretty good. I’m doing what I’m supposed to do, and that’s put all I’ve gone through and put it into music, and I never felt more connected to a record before. When people hear this record, they may not know what happened to me, but they’re gonna know how I felt about it. And that’s exciting for me, to just lay it out there for people.”
Well good for Blake. Onward and upward.
Onward.
And.
Upward.

Still playing the victim Blake ? Grow up, nobody believes this is your first rodeo.
Sounds like a remix of past statements. First divorce ranked up with his brother’s death, said while probably thinking about his second along with a probable workplace affair. Saved you my tail. Saved Miranda from you is what she did. I’d follow and send her a thank you. Probably a really nice meat tray. Yes I know, she is a vegetarian. That is the point. You’ll leave her the same way you found her. Cue take 3. Ironic you’re playing a pig. Perfect part. Art really does reflect life.
