Granger Smith explains his alter ego, Earl Dibbles Jr.

In case you haven’t figured it out, yes Granger Smith and Earl Dibbles Jr. are the same person. But Earl is not Granger’s Chris Gaines, “More like my Clark Kent,” he said during a recent visit to my studio.

While Granger may be picking up speed, he has a ways to go before he catches his fictional self. Earl currently has 406,000 followers on Twitter (@EarlDibblesJr) while Granger (@GrangerSmith) has just 137,000. Dibbles is also a Facebook phenom with his “inspirational” and funny posts regularly making the social media rounds.
