Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, tonight is the 49th annual CMA Awards. The day is just getting started, but the first awards have already been handed out.

This morning on Good Morning America, it was announced that Maddie & Tae won the award for Music Video of the Year for their breakout hit Girl In A Country Song while Eric Church and Keith Urban snatched up the award for Musical Event of the Year award for Raise ‘Em Up.

Congratulations to everyone.

The CMA Awards will air tonight 8/7 C on ABC. And be sure to check us out on Twitter (@NashvilleGab) where we’ll be chatting with none other than Jo Dee Messina during the show. She’ll be answering 20 questions about the awards, her music, her career (past, present, and future), and so much more. Follow us and @JoDeeMessina on Twitter and use #CMAawards and #WomenInCountry to join the biggest CMA Awards party on the Internet!

Be there or be square.
