Reba and the Girls of Little Big Town Make Surprise Nashville Appearance

Those in attendance at a Nashville Shadowboxer’s show on Wednesday night were in for QUITE the surprise when three of country’s leading ladies joined the band on stage. Reba McEntire joined the group at The Basement East, as did Kimberly Schlapman and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, for a cover of the Dolly Parton classic “Jolene.”

For quite a while now, the lack of women being played on country radio has been a topic of discussion. Despite there being an over-abundance of talented women to choose from, nothing’s really changed in the last couple of years and no one can seem give a definitive answer as to why it’s not changing.
