The Pistol Annies: Reunited and It Feels So Good

pistolannies

Our country-lovin’ hearts broke a little when the Pistol Annies mysteriously disappeared from country radio and canceled their tour back in 2013. They blamed the cancellations on “unforeseen circumstances,” and although they denied tension in the band, rumors swirled of discord between the Annies.

Whatever the case, it looks like Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley have let bygones be bygones because the trio reunited last night…and it felt so good.

We hope this means more music from the Pistol Annies, but seeing these three on stage together does a heart good.

And, it looks like it won’t be a one-time thing. YAY!

So cool to see the Pistol Annies on stage together. They have all been talking about getting together to try and set time to do new music for a while now. Ashley talked about how they always have a text link on their phones open and they text songs lyrics. Angaleena texted them both about them all going to Europe w/ the Annies when she went over their a few months back. People always try to make it like they broke up b/c of some huge fight but seems that time was a big issue. Anyway so funny seeing them out singing. PS Ya left out that after that Patty Loveless came and sang w/ Miranda. The Encore was a stunning look at female country star power!!

These girls are great together, but Miranda has been putting on some great shows on this new tour. I noticed Ashley has canceled several shows as of late(except the ones with Miranda) must have been from lack of sales (what else). If a person wants country and lots of fun keep this tour in mind.Of course I’m a forever fan of Miranda’s, but I just don’t see any other female that beats her. I do really like Cam and Jana Kramer and could sit thru one of their sets
