Which of Keith Urban’s “Johns” Is Heading to the CMA Awards Stage?

Keith Urban recently hit Number 1 with one of the best songs to grace country radio in the history of the genre, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16“. Now, one of those Johns will be joining Keith on the CMA Awards stage for an unforgettable performance.

While Keith could realistically ride a John Deere on to the Bridgestone Arena stage (and still very well may), it is the Cougar, John “Cougar” Mellencamp, who will be standing front and center. Add this collaboration to the ones previously announced (Eric Church and Hank Williams, Jr. and Thomas Rhett and Fall Out Boy), and the 49th Annual CMA Awards are shaping up to be the most colorful show yet.
