It’s been a few singles since Keith Urban slowed things down and reminded us of his smooth and silky vocals in ballad form. However, with his new single “Break On Me“, the Australian country crooner takes us back to this side of Keith we know and love.

“Break On Me” is a song about allowing the one you love to use you as a pillar of strength in her time of need, insisting that if she needs to “break like glass” it is okay to break on you. The selfless, sweet-natured song is one that rids a momentarily lonely person of feeling alone, making it clear that somebody is there to pick up the pieces of a shattered soul.

The chorus encourages:

Break on me, shatter like glass, come apart in my hands, take as long as it takes, girl, break on me. Put your head on my chest, let me help you forget, when your heart needs to break just break on me.

If Keith Urban is making a run for his twentieth Number 1 hit with “Break On Me”, it can safely be said that it is only a matter of time before he can check that box off his “to do” list. Listen to “Break On Me” below and let us know what you think!

Like it but will radio play it? Did he write it for nicole after her dad died? No bed of my truck, dirt road, blue eyes, tight jeans and FGL nonsense but they are getting rich so …… if this was a song by a newbie, no air time. Keith has clout.

Keith didn’t write the song, but it does seem to go along with the death of Nicole’s Father and how much she said she leaned on Keith.
It’s a beautiful song and radio would be crazy not to play it! I love it! Keith has one gorgeous voice and can deliver a melody better than anyone.

This is a great song and if it doesn’t get radio time, there’s something rotten in Denmark.

Brett Eldredge’s wig game is spot on

There are two types of artists who hit Nashville around CMA Fest time: Those who hide from fans and are only there to perform and those who go out and immerse themselves in all the fun. We clearly know which side Brett Eldredge is on.
