Vocal problems force Tim McGraw to cancel last two shows on Shotgun Rider Tour

Damn Tim McGraw

Who knew the first “damn” picture Tim teased fans with a few days ago would come in so handy so quickly?

In your major bummer news of the day, Tim McGraw has been forced to cancel the last two tour dates on his Shotgun Rider Tour due to vocal trouble.

The disappointing announcement was made on the singer’s Facebook page today regarding his show tonight (9/18) and tomorrow night (9/19) in Irvine, California.

The Tim McGraw Shotgun Rider concerts tonight (September 18th) at Shoreline Amphitheatre At Mountain View in Mountain View, CA and tomorrow (September 19th) at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA have been cancelled due to illness. Tim McGraw has been placed on vocal rest by his doctors.

“This is so disappointing to me. We’ve had such a great summer and I was looking forward to this final weekend with the fans in California. I appreciate the support and look forward to coming back soon. The word ‘can’t’ is just not in my DNA, if there was any way I could sing, I would do it,” said McGraw.

All tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.

Well, with his newly announced Damn Country Music album coming out in November, I guess Tim can use all the vocal rest he can get.

Get damn well soon, Mr. McGraw.
