Sam Hunt Confirms Fifth “Montevallo” Single

Sam Hunt‘s “House Party” topped the charts last week, giving him his third consecutive Number 1 song off his debut full-length album, Montevallo. As “House Party” was on the rise, fans started wondering what Sam’s next step would be: Would he release another track off the offering? Would he wait until new music is in the can? What would be next for the rhythm and bluesy country artist who has had quite a hand in changing the style of the genre?

Nada from The Bobby Bones Show ran into Sam and friends (about thirty deep) at a Nashville restaurant last night, and rather than letting any questions continue to go unanswered, she asked Sam, point blank, if “Break Up in a Small Town,” which was rumored to be the next single, would, in fact, be released. Fans will be excited to know that Sam confirmed that the anything but typical track would be the next of his songs to hit radio waves.

This story makes “The Notebook” look like “Animal House.”
