They are among the four newest stars to be inducted into Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame Park!

Johnny Cash, Miranda Lambert, Steve Cropper, and E.W. “Bud” Wendell will receive the 67th, 68th, 69th, and 70th stars, respectively, following the recent inductions of Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. On inducting the four monumental artists, Music City Mayor Karl Dean stated:

These inductees to the Music City Walk of Fame represent the best of Nashville’s music industry, from the gritty and soulful guitar work of Steve Cropper to Miranda Lambert’s powerful singing and songwriting and Bud Wendell’s visionary leadership of the Grand Ole Opry and Gaylord Entertainment.

The induction ceremony will be held on October 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Walk of Fame Park and is open to the public.

Congratulations to the newest inductees, as well as to those who have helped each of them get to this notable point in their careers!

Miranda has to be thrilled over this honor. Also Alan Jackson is joining Miranda this same evening at The Grand Ole Opry! This has been a great Miranda week. A big Kenny Miranda Tour which fans have wanted since their last tour in 2009. How can it be bad when two of your favorites are gearing up for stadium shows in 2016.
