Nobody, I mean nobody, will get in the way of the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year performing for a crowd of tens of thousands of excited fans. Luke Bryan proved that he lives by the motto “the show must go on” over the weekend when he sold out two nights in Philadelphia and gave his all, despite the fact that his son, Tate, was in the Emergency Room.
Just before Luke got on stage Friday night for his first of the two shows, he shared with 92.5 XTU that Tate had fallen earlier in the evening and hit his head, resulting in a huge bump. Luke’s wife, Caroline, was home alone with the kids when Tate fell, and, according to XTU’s Andie Summers, the headlining superstar was obviously distraught about not being there for his family.
However, the true professional made sure the show went on, and Luke later reported that Tate was on the mend. Our well wishes are being sent to Tate, and our high fives are aimed at Luke and Caroline for a serious parenting partnership!
