So Long, Farewell to Kenny Rogers

Kenny told Today that his seventy-sixth album is on the brink and that to commemorate his fifty-seven year career, he will be traveling to give his fans a proper farewell as the Gambler bids adieu to the industry. Well, Kenny, I remember when you sang with The Scholars; what a wonderful quartet. Never heard you sing solo so I was surprised when you became part of the Fifth Dimension. What a wonderful surprise. Still remember when y’all performed at the Shamrock. I remember my date and I let you out in the early hours of the morning at your house in Houston. Hope you can enjoy the rest of your life being with your family-have some fun.
    Best wishes,
