Josh Thompson Announces That It’s Time for a Change

Back in 2011, Josh Thompson recorded and shelved a “lost” album that went unreleased during his transition between Sony Records and Show Dog-Universal. Now that Josh is no longer restricted by the ties that bind, he has decided to release the music that was locked away until the time was right.

The album will come in two parts — EPs entitled Change: The Lost Record, volumes 1 and 2 — and will be available through digital outlets pursuant to a partnership with publishing company Ole. While most of the music will be brand new for Josh’s fans, they will recognize his Top 40 single from 2011, “Comin’ Around.”

Volume 1 will be released on October 9th. NashvilleGab will share more intimate information in the form of an in-depth interview with Josh Thompson regarding the dual disc collection as the release date comes closer, but fans can now pre-order the first volume of Change by visiting iTunes.
